Vision Statement

Matthew 18: 21-22 will be the Ethos (center) of the ministry of Seventy Times Seven Church (STSC). “Then Peter came to Jesus and said, Lord how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him, seven times?  Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee until seven times, but until seventy times seven.” We rest on the foundation of these verses. The church must be likened unto a place for all people, without biases and prejudices, and regardless of race, religious background, ethnicity, social and economic status; for we must reach out to every person and exercise the love and forgiveness that Jesus Christ exemplified and taught while on earth. In addition, our aim for growth is the quality of man not the quantity of men. We must teach the authoritative and inerrant word of God in an effort to reach the holistic man, so that he/she will grow into adult christians as they develop spiritual balance and maturity.  By implementing this philosophy, growth in the Body of Christ is inevitable.

Mission Statement

Seventy Times Seven Church Mission Statement is taken from Isaiah 61:1-2 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted. He has sent me to bind up and heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the (physical and spiritual) captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound (oppressed). To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (the year of favor) and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn.
We must take seriously the task of reaching all people. Our message is quite simple, but profound. We are here to bring a message of hope to the poor, to say to those who are broken via the storms of life, and held captive by the prison of shattered dreams, that God can restore to them the years that the enemy has stolen. That God can and will restore them to their rightful place in the Kingdom regardless of past mistakes, failures and disappointments, because there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. It is our aim to do so humbly, and with a spirit of excellence and integrity, being led of God in all things.
